Welcome to Barbieland, a web clique created for anyone who considers themself to be a Barbie! This clique was inspired by Greta Gerwig's 2023 movie adaptation of Barbie.

:: Who is a Barbie?
Anyone can be a Barbie! Barbies are anything from doctors and lawyers to teachers and mothers. What connects all barbies together is our shared values of femme-empowerment, self-confidence, and self-actualization. We are not defined by our roles, other people, or gender, but by ourselves. Barbies don't necesarily have to love the color pink or be a fashion enthusiast themselves, but they need to have an understanding and appreciation for these things.
:: What is a web clique?
A web clique, also known as a text clique, is a collection of website owners who share a similar interest or value. We all see ourselves as a Barbie in different ways, but instead of a fanlisting, this claim clique is meant to be linked onto your website as a declaration of what kind of Barbie you are.
:: Rules
This is only a clique in the nostalgic old web sense! We're open to whoever has their own website, and as long as you follow the rules below.
- This is a claim clique, meaning it is meant to be linked onto your website as a declaration of what kind of Barbie you are.
- You must have a personal website. Accounts hosted on theme-based platforms like Weebly, Wix, Tumblr, Blogspot, LiveJournal, Wordpress.com, or Blogger are alright as long as they are personal in nature. NSFW websites may be labeled as such.
- Your website should have no hate speech, bigotry, or discriminatory content.
- You must choose a tagline that describes what kind of Barbie you are. This tagline can be anything, as long as it's appropriate! Need inspiration? Try looking at the taglines on the Cast Barbie (2023) Movie Posters. You can claim a tagline that has already been listed.
- Your code must be visible on your website. Choose something like a Cliques/Joined page, splash page, or index.html to display your code. If your code is hard to find, it will be assumed you want to be removed from the clique, and you will be removed. Just re-submit if you'd like to rejoin!
- You can claim multiple taglines for multiple URLs. Just re-submit the form!
